JAMES DUNN
Sometime in 1779, James enlisted as a private in Captain John Littlel's Company in Colonel Frederick Visscher's Regiment of Tryon
County Militia (Third Regiment) while living at Johnstown.
According to James' memorandum he was in the service at various times from June 12, 1779 until October 28, 1782.
James' memorandum was found on Microfilm Reel 74, series 246, Revolutionary War Rolls 1775‑1783, National Archives, Washington, D.C.
May 15, 1785 a memorandum of Ste[?] Sartifikate as sent out by Volkert Veeder for Col Frederick Vishers Regiment & the Nombar of the Sartifiket & the amount of the sum:
